This house is basically a modern house with a traditional elements. It comprises of a basement housing the entertainment rooms, ground with a bedroom, family lounge and kitchen, first floor with the master-bedrooms with master-baths and the attic floor with the children’s bedrooms. The house is well lit wit incoming natural light and the attic with dormer/bay windows.
The entrance from the car park at the basement level visually connects the house with views at various levels. the spaces at various levels are connected through a hydraulic lift and stairs. The house is a canvas of various materials, from the blue stone cladding to the external walls to the glass railing to the terrace. Although the design criteria has been to enhance a modern outlook yet the traditional high pitched roof merges well into the other elements. The vestibule acts as a hub for home’s social spaces and connects to the main living areas. The master bedrooms enjoy a visual connection to the vegetation through a generous terrace area. The house has been designed to achieve maximum views from each level to the surrounding areas yet considering the privacy and security of the property.
